Proviso Partners for Health (PP4H) is a multi-sector coalition taking action to address childhood obesity in Proviso Township. PP4H includes businesses, daycare centers, schools, health care providers, social service organizations, and community residents — all working together to promote healthy eating and active living.

Our Involvement With Healthy Hotspot

Proviso Partners for Health helps communities make the food environment healthier through community gardens; school wellness policies and community development. The Giving Garden in Maywood, IL collaborates with youth and adults to grow and sell healthy foods. This urban farm is one of several Healthy HotSpots that is making healthy living easier for residents in communities of Proviso Township.
