West Cook YMCA
The West Cook YMCA, rooted in Judeo-Christian tradition, is dedicated to developing the spirit, mind, and body of all persons through quality leadership, programs and services, in cooperation with community groups for the common good. At the Y, community is our cause and as a cause-driven organization, we are focused on youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.
Our Involvement With Healthy Hotspot
We offer a variety of chronic disease prevention programs including our Diabetes Prevention Program, Take Charge of Your Diabetes, a diabetes self-management program, LIVESTRONG at the YMCA for cancer survivors, and EnhanceFitness for arthritis prevention and management. We are also currently in the process of transitioning our residences into smoke-free housing.
