Community Baby Shower

Cook County Department of Public Health is inviting expectant and new parents to a community baby shower on Saturday, Aug. 22, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Harvey Park District, 14821 Broadway Ave. in Harvey, Ill. Community resources, baby essentials and health education on such topics as safe sleep, breastfeeding and lactation support will be offered at no charge.

✅ Resources (Medicaid, WIC, nurse home visit programs and more) 

✅ Baby essentials  

✅ Health education 

✅ Presentations about safe sleep, breastfeeding and lactation (milk production) support 

✅ Fun activities in a family-friendly environment
