Boost Up Cook County

Get vaccinated

Cook County public health officials are encouraging everyone to “Boost Up” even if you are “boosted out.” Stay up-to-date on all CDC-recommended immunizations, including seasonal vaccines for COVID , flu and Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) , if eligible.

Everyone 6 months and older should get an updated COVID-19 vaccine and a flu vaccine. The RSV vaccine can be given at the same time and is recommended for all adults 65 and older.

Routine vaccinations help prevent:

  • Severe illness, hospitalization, and death
  • Missing out on social gatherings with friends and family
  • Missing out on school and extracurricular activities
  • Spreading diseases to children and others who aren’t vaccinated because of age or underlying medical conditions
