The Nehemiah Community Project (NCP ) was founded by Christopher L. Chambliss who is a native of the Maywood, IL neighborhood. NCP provides community residents with vital programs around mental health, community resources, and recently COVD-19. Through its Desired End Program, African American and Hispanic populations in Proviso Township are offered hope and guidance as they become leaders within their communities. NCP disseminates COVID-19 information via social media, flyer distribution, community forums, outreach, and presentations.
