Williams After Care Recovery Center (WACRC) started in 2003 from visionary founder David J. Williams. After realizing homelessness and addiction was a revolving door, there had to be better solutions.
WARC mission is to provide holistic services that address the social determinates of health and successfully assist with their transition to economic equality. WACRC provides services specifically for homeless individuals, those at-risk for homelessness and vulnerable individuals who are justice involved, particularly returning citizens. WACRC understand the social determinates of health stacked against this population places them at greater risk for severe morbidity and mortality due to COVID-19 and will provide disseminate timely COVID-19 to the community of Harvey.
