COVID-19 Initiative Evaluation
The Policy, Practice and Prevention Research Center (P3RC) at the University of Illinois Chicago School of Public Health partnered with Cook County Department of Public Health (CCDPH) to conduct a multi-method developmental evaluation of the COVID-19 Initiative. This evaluation seeks to understand how community engagement and capacity-building are realized at the organizational, community, and systems levels by the initiative and CCDPH more broadly.
The following report reflects findings and recommendations from evaluation activities conducted throughout the project, which includes confidential listening sessions with CCDPH staff, participating community-based organizations, and partners, and qualitative and quantitative data analysis of monthly performance monitoring reports.
