Alivio Medical Center is a bilingual, bicultural organization committed to providing access to quality cost effective healthcare to the Hispanic community, the uninsured, and the underinsured, and not to the exclusion of other cultures and races. This mission is expressed through the provision of services, advocacy, education, research and evaluation provided in an environment of caring and respect. Alivio Medical Center target populations include uninsured, undocumented, Spanish speaking individuals and families in the west suburban Cook County. Alivio’s outreach and education team utilizes its Mobile Unit and incorporates its existing Community Health Workers Program in the west suburbs to not only deliver cloth face coverings but also conduct Covid-19 outreach and education through virtual workshops.
