Rincon Family Services

Founded in 1972, Rincon Family Services (RFS)  is a non-profit, 501c3 community-based institution established by community residents and individuals recovering from substance use on the Near West Side of Chicago. A group of civic leaders, activists, clergy, elected officials, law enforcement and medical professionals founded – “El Rincon” as it was originally known.   As one of the first Latino-focused substance use treatment centers, our mission to serve the entire family and address changing needs of the larger community. RFS programs engage families and promote values of social responsibility, wholeness, compassion, restoration and giving back to the community. With over 47 years of experience, RFS provides compassionate and effective programs that enhance the quality of life and serves as a catalyst to advocate educate and empower individuals and their families through counseling, case management, prevention, and treatment services.
