Hidalgo Meat Market Foods is participating in the Healthy Corner Store project. The Healthy Hotspot initiative supports corner stores in overcoming barriers to stocking healthy, affordable, and fresh food. This event has been organized by the Consortium to Lower Obesity in Chicago Children (CLOCC) in collaboration with The Center for Faith and Community Health Transformation, Cook County Department of Public Health, South Suburban Mayors and Managers Association, University of Illinois Extension and City of Blue Island.
