TCA Health (TCA) was established in 1970 as a privately-owned clinic in the heart of the Altgeld Gardens public housing development. In 1991, TCA Health became a Section 330 Community Health Center and Public Housing Primary Care grantee. Today, the agency provides continuous, comprehensive, high quality primary health care services, serving as a medical home for over 7,300 patients annually.
The mission of TCA Health is to improve health outcomes by providing high-quality, barrier-free, personalized health care for the entire family. Among the services offered are health screenings, general primary medical care, obstetrics & gynecology, family planning, pediatrics, immunizations, oral health, behavioral health, pharmacy, clinical social work services, case management, nutritional counseling, health education, and community outreach.
