Per the Illinois Department of Public Health, as of June 5, there have been a total 125,915 confirmed COVID-19 cases and 5,795 deaths in IL, including: 81,344 cases and 3,880 deaths in Cook County. This includes 33,793 cases and 1,640 deaths in suburban Cook County, and 47,551 cases and 2,240 deaths in Chicago. All numbers provided are provisional and subject to change.
